Founding a small shop in Ascoli Piceno
Emidio Lazzarini's turning point
1950
The third-generation boxer and shoemaker takes over the company. He begins creating soft, comfortable shoes for himself and other athletes.
The baptism of the name
1959
Legendary Juventus player John Charles tries on the shoes and exclaims, "It's not a shoe. It's a slipper, a golden slipper!"

1950s and 1980s
